Parmesan Chicken Couscous


Hello everyone!!

Dinner time! The best meal at the end of a hike. Now I like hot meals, but cold meals are easier and you do not have to worry about cookware in your pack. More on equipment in a different blog. 😉

Again this particular recipe was made to be divided up to between 3 people, (446 calories, 36 grams of protein and 51 g of carbohydrate each serving when sharing with 3 people)

The full recipe provides, 1339 calories, 107 g protein, 154 g carbohydrate  (11 g fiber), 28 g fat, 1659 mg sodium.

To make the full recipe:

  • 1 package of Parmesan Near East Couscous
  • 2.25 cups Dehydrated Chicken
  • 1/4 Dehydrated Vegetable Soup Mix
  • 1/4 Dehydrated Mushrooms

This weighs 333 grams or 11 5/8 oz.

Again we like to bring our own seasonings along for added flavor and to satisfy everyones tastebuds!
