Gear Review: Stove for Backpacking

Hello everyone!!

Been MIA, very busy week at work 😕. Today is the start of a new week and hopefully it is kind to us!

Being that ihave shared recipes and cookware for the trail. I think it is important to share stoves as well! And belive it or not this equipment is also…. titanium! LOL.

We have the BRS Ultralight Camping Gas Stove. This stove or some variation can be found in store at REI or online Amazon. We chose this particular stove because the price and the specs met our needs. Yes, the REI guarantee is spectacular, but we’re pretty careful with our equipment and felt that a cheaper titanium stove would do just fine. Also, having Amazon Prime and one day shipping could have inspired the decision 😉. Best part it fits inside out pots, a must when space in your pack is so valuable.

This stove is:

  • Material: titanium alloy, aluminum, copper, stainless steel
  • Ignition mode: external connection
  • Power: 2700W
  • Weight: 25G or 1.6 oz
  • Fuel: butyl
  • Dimensions: diameter 37mm, high 52mm

Happt trailing!!!
